Wedding photographs from a spectacular Lancaster Wedding Ceremony and Reception, held at Lime Spring Farm, a premiere destination wedding venue just outside of Philadelphia PA. Being based out of St. Augustine Florida, we were excited to head north to photograph a beautiful spring time wedding in the Northeast, on such a wonderful (and very green) property. Julie and I had a great time with both bride and groom, who even with a dodgy forecast were relaxed and upbeat the entire day. One of the most appealing aspects of Lime Spring Farm was that the entire day could be self contained on the property, including space for both bride and groom to get ready, indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, and cocktail and reception areas large enough to meet the demands of the largest wedding guest lists. This, along with numerous areas and backgrounds to photograph, made it a pleasure.
Luck was with Kyle and Molly on their wedding day, allowing them to squeeze in their first look, a few portraits, and their ceremony outside in the garden, just steps from the second oldest house in Lancaster County, before rain. Unfortunately as the ceremony ended, storm clouds began to close in on the farm, making family photos outside an impossible task. Using the large barn at the venue, we were able to continue with family photos, finishing up just as the sun began to return. Looking at our favorite hyper local weather app Dark Sky, we could see we had at least another 15 minutes before the next possible shower. A short golf cart drive (yes they also had a golf cart available to the bride and groom!) to the entrance of the farm for a few more portraits before party time.
The reception kicked off with MC Big Ric introductions, and some very entertaining bridal entrances, followed by Big Ric Rising and his all star wedding band out of Philadelphia, who kept the party going all night long.
A BIG Congratulations to the newly married Molly and Kyle, we are so happy for you and were honored to be able to capture your special day!
